The 8" wide swiveling end plate distributes the weight of the ladder to prevent breakage of slates, tiles or asbestos roofing shingles.

Easily rolls up and down roof surface on wheel. When ladder hook reaches top of roof, flip the ladder to hook it over the ridge. Essential for working on roofs safely. Easy on/off ladder - the hook clamps onto the ladder rungs. You can work on slate, tile, or asbestos roofs without damaging them! Rolling wheel does not swivel (it will only roll up or down the roof, not sideways) and is therefore safe.

Center the hook on the two rungs at the top of the ladder. Always install a ladder hook only on a single section of ladder (NEVER ON AN EXTENSION LADDER).
