Pop Rivets - 100 count, 1/8" copper/brass, LONGER GRIP LENGTH

These rivets are a little longer for when you have to rivet several layers of sheet metal or otherwise need a longer grip length. Copper rivets with brass mandrels - no steel whatsoever. You should always have some copper rivets on hand when doing any copper flashing work.

Many roofing supply houses sell copper-plated steel rivets, or copper rivets with steel mandrels (the mandrel is the long pointed pin). When used with copper flashing, the steel nub that remains in the center of the rivet will rust and create a hole. You can easily check to see if your rivets contain copper-plated steel by checking them with a magnet. If they stick to the magnet, throw them out. Our rivets have brass mandrels, no steel whatsoever, and are designed to last virtually forever.
