SLATE CUTTER, STORTZ 94-B HAND HELD CUTTER (without punch)

 

Some guys swear by these hand-held cutters. They are handy for standard thickness roofing slates, but will not easily cut slates thicker than 1/4" and are often used in the European market where slates tend to be 3/16" thick or thinner. Great for cutting asbestos shingles too. Easily carried in your nail pouch and ideal for nibbling slates for fine fits.
